Mazda Marks Production of One Millionth Atenza With '23EX Brown Leather style' Special Edition in Japan
HIROSHIMA, Japan— To celebrate reaching
the one million unit production milestone for the Atenza sedan
(know as the Mazda6 in overseas markets), Mazda Motor Corporation
has announced that a special commemorative model, the '23EX Brown
Leather style' version Atenza, will be on sale from today at its
Mazda and Mazda Anfini dealerships throughout Japan. The
Hiroshima-based automaker has produced over one million units of
the acclaimed Atenza to date. Job#1 was in February 2002.

Mazda Atenza Sport 23EX Brown Leather style
The 23EX Brown Leather style Atenza, based on the Atenza Sport, Sedan and Sport Wagon models, features exclusive brown leather seats. In addition, as two " firsts " for the Atenza series, the 23EX also delivers heated driver and passenger seats, along with chrome plated outer door handles, as standard equipment. Like many upper-segment European model sedans, the 23EX has brown leather seats for the comfort of its occupants and has a noticeably sporty appearance that refined driving enthusiasts demand.

Restyled Mazda Spiano Models on Sale in Japan

HIROSHIMA, Japan—Mazda Motor Corporation has announced that freshened Spiano micro-mini models, known for their rounded, boxy exterior contours and spacious interior, are on sale from today (April 18, 2006) at Mazda Autozam, Mazda and Mazda Anfini dealerships throughout Japan.
Mazda Spiano XF (FWD model)
The upgraded XF model, based on the former Spiano X model, now has a more fashionable exterior look thanks to a free-flowing front grille, rounded headlights for a cute wraparound effect and silver-highlighted exterior lower body trim. Another new model, Spiano SS, takes the former Spiano Turbo model one step further, with its improved engine output and torque produced by the DOHC Turbo engine, which makes this sportier version a joy to drive.

HONDA Acura To Debut New MDX Concept At New York International Auto Show
TORRANCE, Calif, U.S.A., March 27, 2006 – Celebrating its 20th anniversary as a brand, Acura announced plans to debut a concept version of the all-new MDX luxury sport-utility vehicle, April 12, at the New York International Auto Show and released an artist's rendering of the new vehicle. Scheduled to debut later this year, the 2007 Acura MDX will be the second generation of Acura's luxury SUV to be designed, developed and manufactured exclusively in North America.
Mazda to Sell NR-A Model Roadster in Japan

HIROSHIMA, Japan—Mazda Motor Corporation has announced that it will release the NR-A version Mazda Roadster for sale at its Mazda and Mazda Anfini dealers throughout Japan in early April 2006. The Roadster is known as the MX-5 in overseas markets.

HIROSHIMA, Japan—Mazda Motor Corporation has announced that it will showcase the new Mazda CX-9 seven-passenger crossover sport-utility vehicle (SUV) at the New York International Auto Show to be held from Wednesday, April 12 to Sunday, April 23, 2006. As a larger sibling to the Mazda CX-7 crossover SUV, unveiled earlier this year at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the Mazda CX-9 is the second vehicle designed and engineered specifically for the North American market.
Also featured on the Mazda stand will be the new high-performance Mazda3 model, called Mazdaspeed3 (North American specifications), together with newly-upgraded versions of the highly popular Mazda3 range.
Mazda will hold its press conference at the Mazda stand from 9:10 am to 9:35 am on Thursday, 13 April 2006. Press days are April 12 and 13. The show is open to the public from April 14 to 23, 2006.
